SUMMARY:
A fast paced manufacturing company in Phoenix is looking for a Creditors Clerk to join their finance team. They are ideally looking for an individual with a strong personality that can work under high pressure. This candidate will be working with large volumes of transactions thus must he/she be very organized.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:
Completed Matric
A diploma or certificate in finance would be an advantage.
Min of 3 – 5 Years of experience within a creditors position.
Knowledge of Syspro is beneficial.
Must be able to work under extremely high pressure with a large volume of transactions.
Must be a good team leader.

Duties and responsibilities:
Perform supplier reconciliations in preparing requisitions for payments.
Reconcile purchase orders to invoices.
Ensure invoices are accurately captured daily.
Load payments on the online banking system.
Ensure that the banking details on supplier invoices match that of the creditor being paid.
Respond to all queries relating to payments.
Perform monthly supplier reconciliations to support all payments to approved suppliers.
Deal with queries from creditors and staff regarding payments.
Load new creditors on the online banking system.
Obtain reserve bank approvals and ensure approvals are renewed before expiration.
Accurate and timely processing and loading of telegraphic transfers on online banking as well as manual submissions to the bank.
Provide monthly creditors’ age analysis for review.
