SUMMARY:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Accounts Manager/Junior Bookkeeper to join our client’s dynamic finance team in Bryanston.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, values accuracy, and is confident in handling daily financial tasks.
POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will assist the finance team by maintaining precise financial records, handling reconciliations and transactions, and supporting financial reporting across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Basic Bookkeeping
- Depreciation and maintenance of the fixed asset register
- General ledger and trial balance preparation
- Accounts receivable management (invoices, credit notes, statements)
Requirements:- Proficiency in Pastel and/or QuickBooks
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Bilingual: English and Afrikaans required.
- Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping or financial administration role
- Familiarity with payroll processes; SAGE VIP Payroll experience advantageous
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive and able to work independently when required
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Collaborative mindset; comfortable working within a structured finance team
- Reliable, organised, and professional
