SUMMARY:
A popular and fast-growing restaurant based in Cape Town is seeking an Admin & Accounts Officer to join their team permanently within the hospitality industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for daily administrative functions, bookkeeping tasks, financial controls, and supporting operational processes to ensure smooth business operations.

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 2–3 years’ experience in admin, accounts, or bookkeeping (hospitality or retail sector highly advantageous).
- Proficiency in Pastel, Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
- Strong Excel, financial reporting, reconciliation, and cash-up management skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems, VAT, and PAYE compliance will be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, process daily cash-ups, and perform reconciliations.
- Manage supplier invoices, petty cash, payment schedules, and creditor processing.
- Assist with payroll support, monthly management accounts, and financial reporting.
- Oversee general office administration, contract management, and compliance documentation.
- Support procurement, stock control, and ensure proper record-keeping across operational areas.
