My client in the Construction Industry is looking to employ a phenomenal Accounts Clerk who is ready to hit the ground running. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a broad range of accounting services that meet the needs of the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing creditors and COD accounts for payments within the designated timelines
Reconciling creditor statements, purchase order and good received notes to invoices
Liaising with suppliers regarding invoices, invoice queries, credit notes and payments; resolve these queries in a timeously manner.
Actively managing the timely resolution of disputes, discrepancies, and queries internally and externally with suppliers
Verifying banking details with suppliers
Reconciling age analysis and ensuring all advance payments are processed
Ensuring all outstanding Credits from suppliers are received and processed
Ensuring accuracy of invoices by matching tax invoices to payment advice
Ensuring validity of company documents submitted for new subcontractors before loading them onto the system
Ensuring invoices are recorded and paid timeously and are processed within specific payment terms

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Diploma in Bookkeeping/Finance
3 – 5 years working experience
Buildsmart advantageous
Cashbook/Clerical Accounting experience
