JOB DESCRIPTION:

ACCOUNTS CLERK

Purpose: Provide professional accounts assistance to financial accountant and finance department, ensuring efficiency and accuracy are maintained at all times.

Principal accountabilities :
Responsible for Full Function Creditors including but not limited to:
Accurate invoice processing
Preparing Creditors Payment Recons and make payments timeously
Maintain and reconcile creditors ledger accounts
Storing information correctly in neat folders on One Drive
Responsible for Full Function of Petty cash, including payments and receipts and petty cash reconciliations.
Processing a
Reconciling various general ledger accounts
Assist with stock control
Assist with Audit files
Assist with Fixed Assets control
Skills and Ability
A high level of professionalism, efficiency and attention to detail.
Computer literacy with high level of accuracy.
Excel and analytical skills a must.
Syspro experience will be advantageous
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines/time constraints.
Problem solving skills.
Be able to communicate verbally in a clear, concise, professional, tactful, diplomatic and sincere manner on all levels.
Ability to perform secretarial and clerical duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision.
Education & Experience
Minimum education requirement – grade 12
Proven experience in Bookkeeping essential
General Office Administration experience required
