JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client has an opportunity available for an Account Clerk based in Durban.

Requirements:

Matric.
3 to 5+ years’ experience in Accounts.
Experience working in a Law Firm would be advantageous.
Knowledge of:
- CMS
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic numeracy, literacy and accounting skills.
- Administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
Your own transport is essential.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for petty cash disbursements, replenishment and count.
Record petty cash transactions daily.
Check CMS and capture travel vouchers.
Accurate capturing of:
- Interest
- Bills
- Soft and hard disbursements.
- Postages and petties.
- Cancellation to write off.
- Bull reversal and reverse transfers.
- Money transfers.
