Accounts Clerk

Our client has an opportunity available for an Account Clerk based in Durban.

Requirements:

• Matric.
• 3 to 5+ years’ experience in Accounts.
• Experience working in a Law Firm would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of:
  • CMS
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic numeracy, literacy and accounting skills.
  • Administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
• Your own transport is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for petty cash disbursements, replenishment and count.
• Record petty cash transactions daily.
• Check CMS and capture travel vouchers.
• Accurate capturing of:
  • Interest
  • Bills
  • Soft and hard disbursements.
  • Postages and petties.
  • Cancellation to write off.
  • Bull reversal and reverse transfers.
  • Money transfers.
