SUMMARY:
Hammarsdale. Opportunity exists for meticulous, accurate Accounts Clerk with proven admin, debtors, and creditors experience to join this growing concern. Proficiency in MS Office is essential | Pastel Accounting experience ideal.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Data capturing (supplier and customer invoices, bank statements, journals)
Prepare month end recons (bank, suppliers, customers, construction, GL)
Preparation of VAT submission
Monthly revenue checks and integration
Preparation of payment requisition
BEE reporting on procurement
Print invoices and statements for monthly as well as ad hoc creditors
Reviewing credit applications
Maintain FAR
Create and process journal entries
To assist with internal control implementation and reporting

Requirements:

Pastel Accounting experience preferred
Experience in paying high volumes of cash transactions as well as debit order management
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to constantly follow up on outstanding issues
An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
