POSITION INFO:

Summary of who we are looking for:

Creditors

• Capture invoices
• Reconciling of Creditor accounts
• Resolve supplier queries
• Create payment run for Suppliers (Fortnightly and Monthly)
• Send proof of payments to Suppliers
• Capture payments made from bank statement
• Petty Cash recons
• Reconciling of Municipal accounts

Debtors

• Generate debtors invoices for clients & recovering overhead expenses
• Capture receipts from bank statement
• Chase outstanding payments

General Accounts

• Update various loan accounts
• Capture various income & expenditure for projects
• Capture and pay expense & fuel claims
• Upkeep of the Asset Register
• Filing
• Upkeep and maintaining Purchase and Rental agreement

Updating the monthly VAT file:

• Capturing/receipting of bank statement
• EFT (payments made)
• Deposits
• Create invoices for payments received
• Update invoice register
• Cheques
• Month end VAT recon sheet
• Loan accounts
• Flight tickets
• Petty cash
• Resolving any VAT related queries

Skills Needed

• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in fast pace & high pressure environment
• Quick learner and be able to Multi-Task
• Attention to detail is not negotiable
• Strong numerical skills
• Be able to use initiative
• Should be computer literate in Excel, Word, Outlook, 7 Pastel experience
