SUMMARY:
Accounts Assistant/Buyer/Creditors Clerk - Maitland – Market Related

POSITION INFO:

 

You will assist the Accountant and the other departments within the organisation.

 

Duties:

 

• Do weekly Re-Order listing and sit with other role players to discuss purchasing needs;
• Place supplier orders and stock orders to make sure stock is produced in time for release. Do daily follow ups
• Receipt goods in receiving area by checking stock against purchase order
• Alert store person of goods being received so area can be cleared
• Capture GRN and Supplier invoice
• Sort out any queries that may arise on goods received etc.
• Update supplier stock on hand spread sheet
• Do daily physical stock count checks in store of important fast-moving items.
• Do bi-weekly stock checks on non-stock items. (Does not appear on Stock list)
• Monitor stock list daily and release where necessary where shortage is
• Do purchase orders on all machine repairs for call out and follow up on mechanic availability
• Monthly supplier reconciliation to be finalised by 15^th of each month
• Arrange courier service where needed to pick up stock or deliver to supplier
• Check stationery and order accordingly
• Check cleaning products and order accordingly
• Do filing on Supplier and Customer documents
• Assist with wage payslips and insert in envelopes, Hand to Supervisor
• Filing of wage time sheets and sort sick notes to be filed in Employee sick note file
• All archiving of accounts department documents

 

Commencement 10 January 2022. If you are experienced within a manufacturing environment, proficient on Pastel and Office 365 and have relevant experience as outlined above.
