SUMMARY:
ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR: CREDITORS - ALICE CAMPUS : REF NO: 85

POSITION INFO:

Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates for the above-mentioned permanent position in the Accounts Payable Section:

Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting or an equivalent of NQF Level 7 qualification in line with SAQA standards / framework
· Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience
· Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
· Advanced knowledge of computer application programs, especially ITS

Additional Competencies
· Good Communication and interpersonal skills
· Accuracy and precision in figures
· Deadline driven

Responsibilities include:
· Checking of input processed by processing administrator
· Ensuring that orders processed tie up with invoices processed
· Reconciling of individual supplier / creditor accounts
· Generating payments for suppliers and releasing monies due to suppliers on a monthly basis
· Liaising with both internal and external auditors
· Ensure that creditors are paid on time to avoid penalties
