POSITION INFO:

Job Position: Accounting Officer / Bookkeeper

Ref: 3679

Location: Port Elizabeth
Salary: R12 000 to R15 000 per month CTC commensurate with experience and qualification  

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum Matric
• Attention to details and good with numbers
• Pastel and Excel experience essential
• Experience with:

-      Bookkeeping to trial balance

-      Debtors full function – invoicing, age analysis, month recons, allocating payments received, following up on bad debt

-         Creditors full function – capturing invoices from suppliers, age analysis, monthly recons, preparing a schedule of suppliers to be paid, authorising payments

-      Administration related to finance function

-      Statutory submissions – dealing with SARS, working out PAYE etc
