Accounting Clerk

SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk coming from an agricultural background for a role near Piketberg.

POSITION INFO:

The purpose of the role: to administer debtors, creditors and bank reconciliation and to ensure the proper automated recording thereof on respectively SAGE.

Duties will include:

• Preparation and processing of journals (salaries, wages, depreciation, loan accounts)
• Reconciliation of orders, invoices and statements (capture invoices, recon of supplier payments)
• Invoicing of farm gate sale;
• Capturing and reconciliation of bank statements;
• The recording of accounting transactions on SAGE.

Requirements:

1. Grade 12
2. Relevant tertiary Accounting qualification
3. Previous experience from the agriculture industry in an Accounting role
4. Experience working on Sage
