Accountant - Temp

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Accountant for a temporary vacancy based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Matric + BCom Degree
• 3+ years’ relevant experience required (Accounting industry advantageous)
• Must have advanced MS Excel, Pastel Partner and preferably have worked on Acumatica

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Full control of fixed assets-maintain register, scraping, revalue, recon, approval
• Creditors (including recons), debtors, costing and controls
• Month end functions
• Year end audit and audit file preparation
• Monthly management account preparation and investigation of variances
• Depreciation, accruals and provisions management
• Process invoices and monthly recovery invoices
• Journals processing and payment preparations
• Monthly cost monitoring by department and ensure costs recovery

Salary:  R17 000.00 – R20 000.00 per month for contract duration
