SUMMARY:
Accountant: Reporting & Analysis (Randburg, Johannesburg) 12 (twelve) month Fixed Term Contract

POSITION INFO:

Key roles and responsibilities:

vPreparation, review, investigation and reporting of Income Statement elements and Balance Sheet elements per product on a monthly, year-to-date and year-on-year basis against the prior month/ year and against budget/ forecast.

vPreparation of monthly and quarterly reporting on Income Statement elements and Balance Sheet elements trends and key drivers.

vInvestigation and reporting of rate and volume variances/ movements of Income Statement elements and Balance Sheet elements through critical analyses of trends and key drivers.

vPreparation, review, investigation and reporting of Key Performance Indicators.

vAssist in the preparation, review, investigation and reporting of Annual Budgets and short, medium- and long-term Forecasts.

vLiaising with Budget Owners and Division Heads for information to complete Annual Budget & Monthly/ Quarterly/ Forecasts.

vPreparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations.

vGeneral Analysis for Income Statement elements and Balance Sheet elements as well as processes of preparation and analysis.

vConducting Departmental Management Account review meetings and providing feedback.

vAssist in the financial aspect of any existing project.

vSignatory for payments.

vSupport business with costing of projects, services and business functions as well as other ad-hoc functions.

vDrive continuous improvement in customer service levels in all areas of the business involved in.

Qualifications and experience:

vDegree Qualification.

vCost Management Accounting.

vCIMA from level 2-3.

vArticles.
