Reconcile operational booking systems to accounting records and investigate discrepancies
Prepare supporting schedules for reporting, audits and year-end
Assist with cash-flow reporting and forecasting
Identify control weaknesses and drive improvements in accounting processes
Maintain accurate, well-supported records and clear audit trails

Job Experience and Skills:

BCom in Accounting or Finance
Completed SAICA or SAIPA accounting articles essential
Sage Pastel, Xero or QuickBooks Online experience
Transaction-intensive industry experience
Strong month-end accounting experience
Gauteng-based and comfortable working fully remotely
Ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies independently

Multi-company / group accounting experience advantageous
Multi-currency experience advantageous
Management accounts, cash flow, VAT and audit experience advantageous
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

If you're the Accountant who doesn't just flag a difference but digs into the detail, finds the answer and fixes the problem, this could be your next move. Trade the traffic for flexibility, bring your post-articles experience to an international group and apply now!
