Accountant - Financial & Costing

SUMMARY:
Accountant with costing experience Klerksdorp based. B.Com Management Accounting qualification plus 3 years experience in FMCG/manufacturing

POSITION INFO:

Salary Range: R420-450k per annum.

Our esteemed national client, requires an experienced and qualified accountant with financial/costing experience for their Klerksdorp division.

Essential Requirements:

•  B.Com Management Accounting Degree or relevant equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years financial/costing experience in a business environment, is essential.
• Must be able to work under pressure,
• Must be able to work as an individual and as part of a team.
• Computer skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (e.g., MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Power Automate, etc)

•  The day-to-day management of the financials, as well as assistance with processing of transactions.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met, internal and external.
• Ensure accurate & appropriate recording of finances.
• Examine financial inputs, collect information, prepare reports, analyse, and report variances and make recommendations.
• Addressing all related queries.
• Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting controls and internal procedures.
• Assist in analysing key production performance indicators.
• Improving efficiency and maximize the performance of the organization.
• Analyse and investigate annual and monthly financial accounts.
• Undertake financial administration.
• Liaise with managerial staff & colleagues.
• Develop and manage financial systems/policies.
