Accountant FTC

Job & Company Description:

A well-established financial services company seeks a dynamic SAIPA Clerk to join their finance team as an Accountant.

This is a 6 month contract position with the potential to become permanent.

The company has several branches across the country and the selected candidate will be based at the head office in Pretoria East.

In this role, you will be responsible for the full finance function, working under the supervision of the Financial Manager and the CFO.

Duties include, but not limited to

Import and reconciliation of several bank accounts on Sage

Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts

Petty Cash allocations

Income Statement journals

Bank allocations

EFTs and payments

Education:

BCom in finance or accounting

Skills & Experience:

Completed SAIPA articles is a non-negotiable

Experience with Sage One

Experience with Pastel accounting

Strong personality

Strong analytical skills

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player

Must have own reliable transport as traveling might be required
