Must speak English and Afrikaans
Able to run the books, through online accounting systems, for several small companies.
Balancing of investment accounts
Entering inter entity loan account balancing
Sending monthly financials and reports to management
Manage payroll
Managing organized and comprehensive filing of all related paperwork
Completing and submitting all statutory documentation.
Preparing ad hoc documents/ reports as required
Arrange and manage insurance
Collecting all outstanding invoices and statements in preparation for payment by management.
Liaising with suppliers as and when required for disputes, payments and other matters
Sending customer statements before month end
Resolving customer account queries
Performing credit checks for credit applications.
Keeping customer details up to date
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, essential
Min of 5-years bookkeeping or accounting experience, with some payroll knowledge, essential
Experience running a small accounting department
Sage Evolution knowledge essential
Solid working knowledge of Excel, essential
