POSITION INFO:

Job Description

The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Manager and will be responsible for maintaining debtor’s books, as well the entire accounting function.

Job Overview:

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Accounting Function:

Daily cashbook processing for all banking transactions on all company bank accounts, including Petty cash and credit cards.
Preparation of monthly cash related reconciliations for all companies.
Full accounting function for associate companies, including:

Invoicing
Processing authorized expenses
Debtors management
Stock count processing
Preparation of all Balance Sheet recons
Preparation of monthly management packs.

Administrative Function:

Admin support function on cashbooks for all the company
Complete accounting records.
Assisting with obtaining information required for the annual audit of all companies.

Minimum requirements:

Grade 12
Relevant Financial Accounting degree/diploma (completed)
Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role, handling large accounts.

Required Skills:

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Good numeracy skills
High sense of urgency.
Must be proficient at multi-tasking.
Sage evolution experience.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
