Accountant (Contract Position)

SUMMARY:
To provide an efficient, accurate, proactive and current accounting, payroll and general financial function to ensure the professional and smooth operations.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• BCOM degree
• Minimum eight years accounting experience up to trial balance
• Experience in reporting to operations management
• E-filing for PAYE , VAT and EMP501 returns
• Advanced experience in Sage Evolution Accounting and Pastel Payroll

• Minimum three years accounting experience up to trial balance
• Experience in reporting to operations management
• E-filing for PAYE , VAT and EMP501 returns
• Advanced experience in Sage Evolution Accounting and Pastel Payroll

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Two or more years’ experience in project accounting and detailed reconciliation
• Experience of the non-profit sector and donor reporting
• Experience with Sage Evolution BIC module and advanced excel
• Experience budgeting for project proposals
