POSITION INFO:

Our client, a values-driven group of companies based in Paarl is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant for a maternity cover contract starting in March / April 2021.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for various operating companies and will need to work effectively and accurately under strict deadlines.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Operational and capital expenditure budget
Financial administration
Management information (monthly management reporting)
Liaison with auditors
Reporting to the group financial manager and giving input with regards to financial management of assigned companies financial systems and controls

REQUIREMENTS:

B.Com degree or Diploma in Financial Management / Cost and Management Accountancy
Proven practical experience as an Accountant on a senior level
Computer literacy (Microsoft Business Central (BC) Accounting package and MS Excel)
Detail orientated and good management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A working knowledge of Microsoft BC experience is highly recommended

SALARY:

R20 000 – R22 000 CTC
