SUMMARY:
Our client based in Boksburg is seeking an Accountant with a Bcom degree and no less than 5 years experience using Pastel or Sage with advanced Ms Excel

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accounting

Monthly depreciation calculations and journals.
Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts for Financials.
Profit and loss calculations and journals for imports.
Experience handling fleet expense reconciliation and journal processing for various branches
Preparation of stock take, stock take capturing and finalization of stock take losses and gains.
Manage monthly journals to allocate to correct accounts and various costing centres within the group
Maintenance of fixed asset register
Experience in working with stock management on the system, uploading details of relevant stock on hand at all times. Capturing and finalization of stock take losses and gains.

Debtors
Debtors adjustments and journals.

Creditors

Checking monthly creditor recons
Validating of all stock received and sales of stock related to creditors recons.
1st Release on the bank for all Creditors payments
Assist with and Process Return to supplier notes, Invoices, Creditors Recons, Cashbook)
Creditors journals and adjustments

Matric
Bcom finance related
Pastel
Sage
Advanced Excel
