SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant CA(SA) to support financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, audits and tax compliance within a fast-paced environment.
POSITION INFO:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare financial analyses, reports and branch/subsidiary consolidations.
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with budgets, forecasts and annual audit preparation.
- Investigate and resolve audit findings, discrepancies and non-compliance matters.
- Prepare tax returns and support tax compliance.
- Assist with improving accounting systems, processes and procedures.
- Provide accounting support to junior staff as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years accounting experience; Motor Industry experience advantageous.
- CA(SA) advantageous.
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and Tax Laws.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Valid Code 8 drivers licence.
- Strong analytical, organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Confident, proactive approach with strong English communication skills.
