POSITION INFO:

Accountant (work remotely) – R12,000 – R15,000 per month

We are urgently looking for an experienced accountant to work from home.

Required Skills:

• Experience in financial services, credit, micro lending, banking, loan management, etc. preferred!!!!
• Basic to Advanced Excel
• Communication skills
• Accounting and systems software knowledge
• At least 2 years’ experience in Debtors and Creditors

Job Specifications:

1. 1.    Accounts Receivables:

• Monitor and validate all invoices.
  • Posts customer payments.
  • Updates receivables by totalling unpaid invoices.
  • Maintains client records and files.
  • Follow up on outstanding receipts and escalate any payment arrangements.
  • Hand over clients to collection companies.
  • Handle customers account queries.
  • Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments for clients.

1. 2.    Accounts Payables:

• Complete payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Charges expenses to accounts by analysing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments
  • Entering and uploading invoices into the AP system
  • Posting transactions to journals, ledgers, and any other records
• Reconciling AP transactions, including bank statements

3.Bookkeeping and general accounting (duties to be discussed in detail)

4.Ad-hoc admin duties

Salary is negotiable based on experience and aptitude, but will range between R12,000-R15,000 per month with growth opportunities.
