POSITION INFO:

ONLY Candidates based in Cape Town will be considered.

Property Consultant services located in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking an Accountant / Bookkeeper.

Responsibilities included (but not limited to):

Monthly bookkeeping to trial balance

Monthly bank recons and journal entries

VAT 201, VAT Recons, EMP 201

Full tenant billing function

Debtors, creditors, cashbooks, invoicing, journals

Preparation of month end payments

Ensure bank statements, payments and transactions are allocated

Ensure all petty cash expenses is checked and captured

Tenant deposit recons

Tenant account recons

General financial administrative functions

Audit / annual financial file preparation

Requirements:

Matric

Diploma / Certificate in Accounting / Bookkeeping

3 – 4 years’ experience in an Accountant / Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant role

Property Industry experience is a huge ADVANTAGE

Bilingual – able to speak fluent English and Afrikaans

Driver’s license and own car

Computer literate

Pastel

Advanced Excel skills

Good understanding of accounting principles

Good relationship building skills

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Team player and deadline driven

Meticulous attention to detail

Motivated and ambitious

Ability to work under pressure

Ability to use initiative and good problem-solving skills
