POSITION INFO:

Accountant-  Berea & Musgrave, Durban City

Our client is seeking to hire a accountant to establish the financial structure of a FMCG company based in  Berea & Musgrave, Durban City

Responsibilities

• Ability to multitask
• Work in pressured environment
• Ensure proper functioning of the accounting team.
• Providing guidance to accountants on more intricate tax and accounting queries
• Accurate financial record-keeping
• Full account structure needed to be formed
• Timely submission of all deliverables
• Compilation of financial statements
• Monthly processing
• VAT/EMP recons and submissions
• SARS appointments and queries
• Submission of tax returns
• Provisional tax calculations and submissions
• Personal income tax calculations and submissions

Requirements:

• B.Compt. Degree or Equivalent
• Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
• Experience with Pastel
• SARS experience would be an advantage

• Advanced Excel skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team Player
• Work well under pressure
• Self-motivated and well organized
• Great work ethic
• Deadline Driven
• Valid Driver’s License
