POSITION INFO:
A rapidly expanding corporate advisory firm based in Sandton is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial and accounting functions for a portfolio of subsidiaries. This role is ideal for a qualified professional who enjoys working across multiple entities in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting function for a portfolio of subsidiary companies
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Oversee VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support year-end financial statements and audit processes
- Ensure IFRS compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- AGA(SA) or SAIPA qualification
- 2–4 years’ relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
- Advanced Excel skills and strong Xero system experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple entities
