SUMMARY:
Accountant – Market Related salary – JHB (Germiston) – 6-month contract - Start asap – Open to all

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in Johannesburg is looking for an Accountant with good problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills to join their team.

Duties and responsibilities

Comply with the law, the company’s policies and procedures.
Willing to work overtime from time to time.
Update the relevant policies and procedures.
Compile general ledger, BEE and ad hoc accounting schedules.
Reconcile accounting schedules to TB
Process Journals
Prepare Monthly reports, including the management accounts, debtors report, sales profitability report
Compile the company budget
Prepare the TB and related supporting documents for financial audit.
Conduct the annual asset count
Assist the accounting team
Reconcile and submit VAT on SARS efiling
Forecast cash flow

Minimum qualifications:

BCom Accounting or BCom Honors Accounting or similar
10+ years working experience
Advanced Excel
Valid drivers’ license+ own vehicle
