Accountant

Minimum Requirements 
Accounting qualification 
Experience on accounting Software (SAP most advantageous) 
Minimum of 8 years within the accounting field 
Knowledge in all processes related to foreign currency trade compliance (SARB), custom clearance of goods, import-VAT payment and import-VAT return claims at SARS

Duties will include
Drafting Financial statements
Budgeting
Preparing monthly VAT reconciliations for the group
Processing monthly salary and provision journals for the
group
Calculating provisional tax and annual tax for the group
Managing VAT201/EMP201 audits for the group
Reviewing monthly creditors and debtors’ reconciliations
Reviewing bi-annual and annual EMP501
Managing daily, weekly and monthly payments
Daily cash flow management
Reviewing monthly accounting records
Ensure foreign currency trade compliance, custom clearance and import vat payment and return claims at SARS.
