SUMMARY:
Well established company in the infrastructure and construction industry requires a qualified Accountant at their Willow Park Manor offices (Pretoria East). This position would be ideal for a self-starter who is able to work under pressure. Main responsibility is to provide accounting support to the finance department.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities

Compile monthly project profit & loss report for management
Compare actual cost vs allowable cost and investigate differences
Capture and preparing payments to creditors on a weekly and monthly basis
Reconciliation of supplier accounts
Invoice customers daily and submit with supporting documents
Calculate and process monthly provisional journals
Keep record of all budgeted income, expenses, and work completion dates for reporting and external audit purposes.
Cashflow submissions
Back-up function for purchases orders
Assist with yearly audit and budgets
Assist with other financial aspects where needed

Desired Experience & Qualification

B.Com Accounting (or similar)

At least 5 years'' experience in a similar environment

Independent worker

Problem solver

Extreme attention to detail

Deadline driven
