SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a seasoned Financial Accountant / Management Accountant to come and assist on a 4 month contract. The position is with a company on the verge of change and, although it can’t be guaranteed, there is a potential permanent role on the horison

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be required to assist with the following: fixed asset month-end reporting; general ledger close; income Tax & VAT returns compliance; financial statements and compliance; and any ad-hoc duties that need assistance.

Skills & Experience:
3 – 5 years’ experience as an Accountant / Management Accountant
Manufacturing industry exposure is highly advantageous
Knowledge of South African tax law
General accounting principles
Proficient on Excel
Strong attention to detail
A methodical, structured approach to accounting
Highly organized
Able to deliver in a fast-paced business

Qualification:
CA(SA) OR CIMA OR Degree and experience
