R30K (Contract role)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and responsibilities:

Assisting with cash flow forecast and budgeting processes
Work on journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
Monitor accounts payable
Help with annual external audit
Make sure that adequate internal controls are implemented over all business processes
Prepare payments to suppliers
Book USD denominated transactions
Implement financial accounting systems from scratch
Work on balancing sheet reconciliations

Experience and qualification:

BCom Degree in Accounting
Experience in Bookkeeping
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous
Post article experience in finance department will be advantageous
