A retail company which is rapidly growing, seeks a dynamic and driven Accountant to join their finance team based in Cape Town.

A retail company which is rapidly growing, seeks a dynamic and driven Accountant to join their finance team based in Cape Town.

Duties include but not limited to:

Oversee the daily transactional processing of all transactions

Implement controls and measurements to mitigate risk

Identification of risks and solutions

Weekly reconciliation of control accounts

Weekly payment process to all partners

Oversee customer refunds and reporting

Reviewing and reporting of accounts receivable and payable age analysis

Oversee all partner accounts

Daily/weekly finance reports to management

Income statement and Balance sheet

Work closely with operations- and marketing department on all finance related aspect

Education:

BCom in Accounting or Financial Management

Skills & Experience:

Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles is essential

2 to 4 years' experience within the retail or FMCG industry is essential

Sage experience

Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player
