Join my client in the Financial Services industry (Wealth Management) as an Accountant reporting into the Financial Management

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Weekly Reviewing of Bank Statements & Petty Cash (including reconciliation and control)

Reviewing of Weekly Revenue processing (Debtors)

Reviewing of Weekly payments and reconciliations (Creditors)

Monthly Reviewing of Payroll Journals and Other Payroll Accounting Transactions

Monthly Reconciliation of Payroll Liability Accounts

Monthly Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts (Balance Sheet)

Responsibility for Finalisation of Monthly Processing by Due Date

Preparation of Management Accounts, responding to queries from Financial Manager

Managing x2 Senior Bookkeepers (Local and International)

Ad Hoc Tasks/Queries

Assisting the Financial Manager with Projects

Assisting the Financial Manager with Audit Related Matters

Regular internal process checks

Assist with audit related queries and investigations

Ability to stand in for the Finance Manager as and when required

Desired Experience & Qualifications

Recognized Qualification in Accountants (Degree preferred)
A min of 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Thorough understanding of Payroll Processing
Working knowledge of VIP Premier,
Solid Sage Evolution knowledge and work experience
