POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Capturing transactions on the electronic accounting system (SAGE Evolution) and on any other necessary systems (data entry);
• Processing accounts payables and payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures;
• Creditors’ Statement and selected Balance sheet reconciliations;
• Capture Supplier Purchase Orders & Supplier invoices;
• Capture Stock & responsible for Stock Control;
• Creditors and balance sheet recons;
• Preparation of weekly and monthly payments;
• Running Bill of material manufacturing processes daily;
• Bank cashbook processing and reconciliations;
• Assistance with stock counts and recons;
• Month end journals;
• All other processing to Trial balance level;
• Preparation of year end schedules to support the annual audit;
• Sorting and filing of financial records;
• Provide administrative support to the factory and reporting to finance management;
• Attend to management and factory queries;
• Weekly reporting (Cashflow forecasting, Creditors, Various).

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with distinctions;
• BCom Degree.

Experience:

• 5 / 8 years’ bookkeeping and accounting experience is a must;
• Completed articles within a well-recognised firm will be advantageous;
• Working knowledge of Sage Evolution 200;
• Preference will be given to individuals with manufacturing industry experience.
