POSITION INFO:
My client in the Dealership and Agri Business Sector is looking for an ambitious Accountant to document financial transactions by entering account information, recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options, summarize current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports on a monthly basis, substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents, maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures, guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions, reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, secure financial information by completing data base backups, maintain financial security by following internal controls, authorize credit payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements, do VAT preparation, reconciliation and submission, contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, do Year-end preparation, completing annual financial statements, tax calculations and completing tax returns and has up to date knowledge of IFRS standards and working knowledge of tax legislation and prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Minimum qualification requirements and skills:
- Matric / Grade 12
- Qualification: BCom Accounting / CA(SA) / CIMA
