Accountant

SUMMARY:
This is an opportunity to show case your skill set and get exposure to management reporting, annual financial statements and be part of a growing finance team.

POSITION INFO:

Responsible to perform all accounting tasks of the Group’s businesses

Processing of all monthly accounts to Trial Balance

Preparing the necessary reconciliations on all accounts

Preparation of all monthly VAT, Import VAT, Withholding Tax statutory returns

Debtors and Creditors Control

Stock Control and related journals

Supplier Control

Bank Control

Assist with management accounts preparation, budget review

Monthly/ Bi-Monthly Monthly/ Yearly statutory returns

Preparation of annual income tax and provisional tax calculations

Preparation of audit files for annual audits

Work with and liaise with auditors regarding the Annual Financial Statements

Skills & Experience:

Experience using Pastel (Advantageous)

Deadline driven

Self-motivated

Qualification:

Completed SAIPA Articles

BCom Accounting or similar
