POSITION INFO:

A Financial Services subsidiary of a large, listed entity in the FMCG space is seeking the skills of an Accountant. This person will be managing their cash book, premium submissions and collections and will be the main contact between the finance and payroll of various operating companies and will be reporting to the Financial Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile the monthly income performance report
  • Engage with external auditors
  • Reconciling all provisions and income accounts
  • Reconciling all premium accounts
  • Monthly manage and action premium collection files received from payroll departments
  • Monthly, run the required month-end processes for the personal lines premiums
  • Check that Personal Lines premiums received are allocated to the correct Pastel accounts

Requirements:

  • Relevant Accounting or Finance qualification
  • 3-5 years'' experience in a similar environment
  • Capable in Excel and Pastel
