A multinational concern offering transport services globally is looking for an Accountant to join their growing finance team.

JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, performing monthly reconciliations, and preparing or processing journal entries. The Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the annual budgeting process, reviewing the debtors and creditors ledgers as well as preparing the daily, weekly, monthly financial reports.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

BCom Honors in Accounting
SAICA/SAIPA articles completed

JOB EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 3-4 years’ post article experience in a similar role
Working knowledge of SAP
Experience working in a larger organization/shared services environment is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confident and assertive
Experience dealing with multiple business units is preferred
