Our Financial Services Accounting Firm Client in Cape Town is looking for an experienced Accountant. Completed SAIPA Accountant articles with post experience an extra advantage but not a must as solid Accountancy experience is essential. Min Requirements
• Matric and Relevant Financial Qualification
• Completed SAIPA Learnership – Added advantage but not a must
• Full Accountant experience 3-5 years from an Accountant Firm prospective or similar
• Excellent with Financial Software pages and Excel
• Post Qualified experience a bonus but not a must

Responsibilities:
• Full Accounting for various clients
• To perform the following for a portfolio of clients – Financial Compilations’.
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Payroll services
• Books to Financial Statements
• Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, and maintain general ledgers up to and including management accounts.
• Perform the full payroll function.
• Complete and submit statutory forms (SARS, VAT, Paye, UIF, WCF)
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
