Accountant

SUMMARY:
Seeking a high performing Accountant with SAICA articles and 2-3 years commercial experience. In depth understanding of team management is required.

POSITION INFO:

Managing a team of subordinates

Responsible for the cash flow model

Managing CIT module and accounts

Maintaining loan accounts within company

Managing petty cash processes

Managing cashbooks

Managing bank reconciliations

Managing and authorizing journals

Calculating cash shortages and resolving deductions

In charge of PO Tool audit on a month-to-month basis, including feedback and possible training

Account for stock movements and transfers

Coordinate stock takes

Oversee payment packs

Oversee invoice capturing

Manage the supplier ledger and supplier age analysis

Help creditor’s team with reconciliations

Help auditors with year-end audits

Manage the asset register, purchases, disposal and transfers

Responsible for deferred tax calculations annually

Skills & Experience:

Management experience

Pastel partner experience or similar software

Advanced excel skills

Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience

Qualification:

BCom Degree with Accounting
