One of the largest transport service companies, operating nationwide, seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team based in Pretoria.

One of the largest transport service companies, operating nationwide, seeks an experienced Bookkeeper to join their finance team based in Pretoria.

Duties include, but not limited to preparation and submission of income tax, VAT, payroll and UIF submissions, month-end reporting and statements and reconcilitations, to name but a few.

Candidates who think of themselves as driven, meticulous on attention to detail and consencious in follow ups and feedback are invited to apply for this opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a notice period no longer than two weeks.

Education:

Degree / Diploma in Finance or Accounting

Skills & Experience:

5+ years'' experience within a full finance function bookkeeping role

Sage experience is essential

Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel

The ability to analyse financial information efficiently and accurately

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

Communicate effectively in English and at least one other South African language
