JOB & COMPANY DESCRIPTION

The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial models to assess the viability of new projects, forecasting estimates and monthly sales reports and estimates. The Accountant will also be responsible for preparing and analyzing income and expenditure statements, reviewing year-end company audit files, and assessing tax implications of arrangements. The Accountant will also be responsible for ensuring best practice group cash management methodology, processes and systems as well as prepare and monitor the organization’s cash flow forecast, monthly, quarterly and annually for management review.

EDUCATION

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

• Newly Qualified CA (SA)
• Big 4 audit article experience is preferred
• First time board passes is preferred
• 4 or more distinctions in matric is preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong business acumen
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships
• Confident and assertive personality
• Strong leadership skills
