Accountant

SUMMARY:
An employer of choice concerned within the petroleum industry is seeking to recruit a finance professional to take on the available role of the Accountant.

POSITION INFO:

Our client who has been in operations for more than a decade, has been prospering within the petroleum industry seeks the skills of a Finance Professional to join their dynamic finance team as the Accountant. You need to be technically strong minded and have a passion for finance, you will also be responsible for the full finance function up to trail balance, preparing budget reports, annual financial statements and reconciliations. Duties:

• Composition of the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Prepare an expense budget report.
• Manage payment processes
• Reconciliations
• Advocating on estimates for project funding
• Generate KPI reports
• Analyse financial records to check for precision.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting + Honours degree
• SAICA / SAIPA articles
• 1 – 2 years commercial experience.
• Good communication, interpersonal and understanding skills.
• Should have an eye for details

Skills:

• Advanced Excel Knowledge
