Our client, a leading financial services company based in Cape Town, is looking for an Accountant to

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a leading financial services company based in Cape Town, is looking for an Accountant to join their team for a 6 month contract.The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and focused individual, someone who is able to solve complex problems and has clear decision making skills. They will be responsible for the accounting, reconciliation and payment of relevant tax on offshore products within the business.

Responsibilities:

Reconciliation and payment of capital gains tax and income tax on offshore endowment products
Liaise with internal tax departments and SARS
Implementation of tax changes into the current financial controls and processes
Provide feedback to management regarding tax reporting requirements

Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary qualification and completion of articles
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
Financial Services experience is essential
