SUMMARY:
One of our clients in the retail space is looking to Urgently hire an experienced Accountant with proven experience. The professional to be appointed must be strong and willing to an extra mile for the company, if you have the full experience Accounting process experience from bank statement to trail Balance, then you are the professional we are looking for. POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

• Must have at least 2 – 4 Accounting experience – Preferably coming from the retail space or FMCG sector.
• Must have knowledge of SAGE Evolution / Paster Partner
• Must have completed articles.

Duties include:

• Processing of bank accounts reconciliations, credit cards, petty cash
• Cash up Journals.
• Processing of Supplier Invoices, reconciliation, and age analysis
• Preparation and review of month end journals
• Submission of VAT and PAYE
• Payroll Journals
• Monitor adherence to policies and procedures on a regular basis.
• Processing of bank statements
• Bookkeeping to trail balance
• Reconciliation and Age analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification – BCom Accounting or any related finance qualification.
