POSITION INFO:

Monthly invoicing.

Weekly allocations of receipts of debtors.

Following up of outstanding payments and clearing queries weekly.

Outstanding PODs report.

Ad hoc invoicing for claims.

Analysing Monthly receipts per bank, agrees to monthly receipts.

Review remittances for accuracy and correctness.

Ensure long outstanding reconciling items are cleared.

Capture payments made and review creditors age analyses.

Ensure payment made per bank agrees to payments captured.

Capturing all overhead invoices in accounting system.

Prepare credit insurance submission to Credit guarantee.

Volume reports per division.

Revenue and Cost of sales reports.

Check that all fields for your reports are correctly populated.

Revenue and Cost of sales journal based on above reports.

Debtors and creditors journals based on age analysis reports and outstanding invoices.

Service invoicing done as mentioned above.

All bank transactions captured and correctly allocated in accounting system.

Bank reconciliation.

Review income statement for reasonability against budget.

Prepare accruals journals.

Cashflow preparation.

Forecasting.

Year-end audit preparations and recons.

Liaising with staff and clients as queries arise or as requested by line manager.

Writing new policies or procedures.

Process enhancements/Automation.

Knowledge & understanding of Business structures, SOP’s, software system operations, financial strategy and any other requirements to perform job requirement.

Skills & Experience:

Industry training in Transport/Supply Chain

Experience in Business analysis

BC or Power BI system experience advantageous

Qualification:

BCom Financial Accounting or equivalent
