A well-established mining company seeks an experienced and driven Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg North.

The purpose of this position will be to maintain accurate financial records. Duties will include but not limited to daily transactional accounting, financial management and assisting with the budgeting and audit processes.

Education:

BCom in Finance / Accounting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

4 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role

Mining industry exposure will be beneficial

Advanced MS Excel skills

Good understanding of accounting principles

Good relationship building skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Strategic thinker

Team player

Deadline driven

Meticulous attention to detail
