An established and well-known oil company seeks an experienced and innovative Accountant to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East.

The purpose of this role will be to maintain accurate accounting records for the business whilst ensuring quality control of the finance function.

The succesful incumbent will be responsible for duties such as overseeing of stock and related processes, debtors and creditors management, cash flow and petty cash management and people management, to name but a few.

Education:

Completed Diploma in Finance is essential

BCom in Accounting / Finance preferred

Skills & Experience:

3 to 4 years'' experience within an Accountant role is essential

Strong computer literacy

Strong analytic skills

Financial acumen

Strong personality

Ability to work in a highly pressured and fast paced environment

Team player

Someone who are prepared to work extended hours when need be
