Accountant

SUMMARY:
My client in the Tourism industry, based in Woodmead, has an exciting opportunity available for a skilled Accountant. This position will allow you to work from home for 3 days per week as you will only have to work from the office twice a week. The company will provide a company laptop to you for the duration of your employment.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements for this role:

-          Matric with a minimum of 5years experience in a similar role;

-          Qualification in Bookkeeping or Accounting will be beneficial, but not essential;

-          Some Articles exposure beneficial, but not essential;

-          Experience with Bookkeeping or Accounting up to trial balance;

-          VAT payments etc;

-          Experience in the preparation of financial statements will be highly beneficial;

-          Experience on any financial packages/systems (Accpac, Pastel, Xero, Quickbooks or similar) essential – they will be going over to Xero shortly;

-          Experience assisting in an Auditing function/environment a definitely plus;

-          Experience in the Hospitality or Tourism industry a definite plus;

-          Reliable and stable internet connection at home.
